I recently had my timing belt replaced and some other work done to keep my car running longer. I have had work done at Greg's Japanese auto before. They are quite friendly, and very confident and honest in their approach. I trust them with all my repairs.

2021 Mazda CX5 with 30k miles owner. Car was sputtering and took it to the dealer. Quoted everything under the sun to the tune of $6000. Took the car to Greg’s Japanese Auto, Nick is the manager. He was very kind to suggest that the repairs should be under the 5yr/60k warranty and even called the dealer service manager to discuss. Of course, those specific parts only have 3yr/36k warranty (thank you Mazda). In the end, Nick suggested a different approach as a starting point and about $1300. I appreciated the honesty and suggesting a course of action that he would if it was his own car vs. staying the course and following the dealer repair recommendations. Plan to keep this car for 5+ years and will be bringing in to Greg’s Japanese Auto in the future.

Had a vehicle last month that unfortunately mechanically totalled itself shortly after purchasing. I’ve been in the market for another used vehicle with obvious apprehension. Any prospect needed a much more thorough inspection than I’d received elsewhere. I was in need of some honesty and a break, really. I brought in a Subaru from a local dealership for a pre-purchase inspection. Scheduling was quick, communication was transparent, price was competitive. They gave me a honest and straight forward clean bill of health, recommending light general maintenance. They did this knowing they wouldn’t be having me back for repairs this time around, as I’d already arranged having these items done at the dealership. I didn’t have my repairs done here this time, but I certainly will if/when the need arises for the car I’m now able to purchase, thanks to Greg’s!

This was a hard-earned 5 star review but it is well-deserved. Shoutout to Nick and his crew. Took my wife's '99 Camry in for a knock sensor issue and found a myriad of issues with it. They fixed them, then the light came on again. Took it back, they swapped out the parts, and the light came on yet again, this time for both knock sensors. They took the engine apart, carefully looked it over, and then swapped out the parts for another fresh set and THIS time, everything is working as it should. I think most people would be annoyed by this, but I really appreciated that Nick honoured the warranty and kept at it until the job was done. They offered a shuttle service via uber to and from the shop and even called to check in while I was writing this review to make sure everything was running smoothly. I recommend this shop for the excellent customer service and dedication to getting the job done right.

I used to go to Lexus of Bellevue, I thought paying more meant better service, apparently no, the last straw was when I got an oil change and maintenance and they forgot to put oil in my car… anyway I have taken my car twice now to Greg’s and ray and nick were so very helpful at scheduling and also letting me know what my car will eventually need. The service is always completed in a timely fashion, they have an Uber service so dropping my car off and getting it back is simple. Highly recommend Greg’s auto.
